Gawa ngijinda mayamaya (Gangalidda language: Welcome). Doomadgee State School is a remote school that offers learning experiences for students from Pre-Prep to Year 10. We are a co-educational school and we cater for students with a diverse range of learning needs and interests. We are located 100 km west of Burketown in Far North West Queensland in the Doomadgee Aboriginal Shire. The Doomadgee community is predominantly made up of Gangalidda, Garrawa and Waanyi first peoples of Australia.
